A Good Father

A good father models himself after the Perfect Father.  I share the lessons I learned from my father and what I hope that I am teaching my kids as a father. We also take a look at the perfect example of a father through the scene of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane.  What was God thinking? What did he want to do to spare his son the pain he was about to face? Why did Jesus know that this was necessary and that his father was still with him through the whole thing?

Joy Is Simple

How often do you wait for incredible things to happen to you?  We all want Joy in our life, but often times we overlook the simple and meaningful events that can bring us the most Joy. In this episode we take a look at how to find Joy in the simplest of moments and how to build those into a powerful, attitude adjusting events.    Enjoy!

Ep. 3 - Finding Faith in Daily Life

It's hard to find your faith in the world today - it seems like we have to take a side and go with this or that:  * Masks or no masks  * stay in Afghanistan or should have left * Republican or Democrat  But these are the rationalizations of a child - they're simple and don't give us a full picture - much like our faith.  Few of us grow from the children story version we learned in Sunday School and have learned the WHY of beliefs.

There is probably nothing more boring and intimidating as putting together a budget - but the problem is - there are so many variables beyond just calculating incoming money and outgoing expenses.  What do you do when you're just out of college?  How about when you're starting a family?  These needs of budgeting are not the same - and we wanna talk about how to make an easy, functional, and fluid budget.  Let's discuss how to fight this giant!
