In this Netflix distributed motion picture, George Clooney plays the titular character, a not-so unfamiliar famous actor at a career crossroads who find himself wondering, what the hell did it all mean anyway? A sentiment I'm sure we all can relate to. Also featuring a quick digression in which we discuss Chris' short lived basketball career.

Episode 50 - Happy Gilmore 2

Your happy hosts hash on the latest Sandler flick, 2025's "Happy Gilmore 2." In this sequel to 1996's "Happy Gilmore," the man himself (Happy Gilmore) returns! And folks: Ball is golfed. Tees are tee'd. Putts are puttered. There's probably a mulligan in there somewhere. But is this a true continuation of a classic American tale (like "The Godfather Part 2" or "Baby Geniuses 2: Superbabies") or is it just another dang bogey (golf slang for "booger")?

Episode 49 - Shakes the Clown

We have another episode! I got tired of writing the synopsis schtick! In this one we talk about 1991's offbeat comedy "Shakes the Clown", directed by legendary stand-up comedian Bobcat Goldthwait. Chris tries to do a Bobcat Goldthwait impersonation! We talk about clowns! Next episode will probably be Happy Gilmore 2 folks. May God help us all.

Episode 48 - Mixed Nuts

In this special episode, the Sandler Santas talk about Mixed Nuts, a classic Yuletide comedy from 1994. This Nora Ephron directed farce stars Steve Martin and a cast of some of 94's finest as they get a little bit silly with the holidays. And Adam Sandler is in it too. Let's take a moment to appreciate that we have now watched every major Adam Sandler starring movie as of the end 2024. Don't worry though, it looks like he's got a few more on the line-up for the coming year. And we could always do Shakes the Clown.

Episode 47 - Spaceman

Your Sandler space cadets blast off with another Sandler spectacle in Spaceman, a sci-fi tinged drama about a man in space heading out on an exploratory mission to find a cosmic cloud. And once again our own favorite comedic cosmonaut boldly traverses into places and genres he's never been to before. When we started this project, I had no idea I'd be watching so many quirky little Netflix melodramas. Never would have had this problem if we had just done Howie Mandel!
