Intro: Apparently Chrome Books are like Trix cereal and just for kids. They’re being replaced in droves by Macbook Neos and other inexpensive computers. To combat that, Google is coming out with a new desktop operating system called the Aluminum OS (or Aluminion for our UK friends). Good plan? Hard to say but dumping Chrome as an OS seems like a step in the right direction. Intro: Well what was once thought of as unthinkable has finally happened. Tim Cook is stepping down as Apple’s CEO to be replaced by John Ternus. For a lot of people who joined Apple or didn’t buy Apple products until after 2011, Cook was the only CEO that they have known. For Ternus, he’s stepping in as Apple seems to be at their strongest with rumored new product releases right around the corner. His story is for later as we discuss Tim Cook’s hits and misses over the years.
