Description

In this episode, we deliver our tribute to the brand new, confusingly-named HBO Max, and highlight some of our favorite pieces of the streaming service's gargantuan streaming catalog. PLUS: Our salute to the bottle episode [https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BottleEpisode] for your continued socially distant listening pleasure. Which ones work? Which one stinks? Why do they even exist? Which one is the best of them, and why is it "Fly"?

Episode 5 - "Big Ups to Jericho!"

In October of the year that was 2020, your intrepid Golden Age team - Darren and Holly - enjoyed a good laugh about shows that returned from the dead. One such target of our mockery was the beloved post-apocalyptic drama Jericho, once housed by CBS.  The nefarious television organization that we have come to know as "Big Jericho" did not take kindly to our comedy. We were conscripted into the soul-crushing writer's pit of their upcoming reboot of the timeless masterpiece Crazy Ex-Girlfriend - and this time, there would be no singing, and it would star Charli D'Amelio and, perplexingly, Santino Fontana. How did they get Santino back, you may ask? Look only to our months of silence for your answer to the unlimited power they enjoy. Over the last five months, we have finally clawed our way from the vile pits of Big Jericho - and have been, miraculously, allowed to release this episode in its unedited, now largely-dated form. There will be more lost transmissions from us - we hope you enjoy them and their even-more-updated forms. Please watch CBS's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend - our continued freedom depends on it, dear listener.
