The Good Co. by Kirk, Hatch and Bloom
In this episode, Toke has travelled to London to speak with Chris Downs about the benefits and challenges of running a ‘four day week’ - here 6 years into his data-driven design agency Normally. Chris comes from a long career in design, most notably as co-founder of Livework, the world's first service design consultancy. Having worked across multiple roles and companies he reflects on what made him excel - and what didn't. In this episode, Chris talks about why Normally chose a ‘4 days a week’. From embracing dark days and bundling waste, to killing table tennis and making clients jealous. Chris also dives into other areas of work that could be improved, such as salary and compensation.
