Matt and Mike welcome Mandy from Texas to talk about her struggles, identification and treatment for a mental illness. Her story reminds us all that it's not all about addiction.Primarily about alcoholism and recovery, our show has been and always will be inclusive. Most important is to make everyone aware that there is treatment and a better life waiting.

Recent events in the Shreveport area have left the city in disbelief and mourning, with the deaths of 8 local children and 2 critical wounded adults at the hand of one shooter. One of our own, Chris C. served in the Army with the shooter in this case and brings to the front line the importance of mental health and the impact a tragedy such as this has on the entire community.

April brings about step 4 in most of our circles. A time to take an inventory and a time to reflect on just how and why I am where I am. Step 4 helps that but may be uncomfortable to some.
