Beskrivelse

This week, fresh off the heels of the 2024 US election, Gtar Phil interviews South Afrikaner activist and music impresario Malcolm du Plessi. Malcolm shares the story of how he helped fight apartheid in South Africa and moved to the US knowing there would be a time when what he learned and did there would prove to be training for his mission in the States. In Part 1 of this 2 part interview du Plessi shares some of his incredible insight on Christian Nationalism, the evangelical church and it's constant struggle with race and why racism has been able to exist so long in the United States. This episode is fascinating as a White man from S. Africa shares why he is on a mission to decenter whiteness in America today.
