Description

Episode 91: Daily Devotional: Can You Count the Apples in an Apple Seed? Description: I heard an author and television host share a fascinating thought the other day. You can cut open an apple and count the seeds inside. Maybe there are 8, 10, or 12 seeds. But here's the bigger question: Can you count the apples inside a seed? One apple seed can eventually produce thousands of apples. Those apples produce tens of thousands more seeds. Over time, one tiny seed can lead to hundreds of millions of apples. That's a powerful picture of how God works. In this episode, we explore Jesus' Parable of the Sower and the reminder that small acts of faithfulness can have an impact far beyond what we can imagine. In this episode: • Why we often underestimate small things • The incredible multiplication hidden inside a single seed • How one act of kindness can change a life • Why God is in the multiplication business • What Jesus teaches in the Parable of the Sower • Our responsibility to plant seeds and trust God with the harvest • How someone else's small act may have shaped your life forever Scriptures Discussed: • Matthew 13:3-8 • Matthew 13:18-23 • Mark 4:26-29 • Galatians 6:9 • 1 Corinthians 3:6-7 Today's Challenge: • Plant one seed today. • Encourage someone. • Pray for someone. • Share a Bible verse. • Invite someone to church. • Do one small act of kindness. Don't worry about the harvest. Just plant the seed. Closing Thought: You can count the seeds in an apple, but you can't count the apples in a seed. The same is true of the impact God can create through one conversation, one prayer, one act of kindness, or one moment of faithfulness. Never underestimate what God can do with a single seed planted in good soil. Thanks for listening today. And remember—stand firm and walk humbly with the Lord. That's the Hall way. #TheHallHotline #DailyDevotional #ParableOfTheSower #ChristianFaith #BibleStudy

Daily Devotional: The Boat-Shaped Formation That Matches Noah's Ark — Coincidence or Evidence?

Episode 90: Daily Devotional: The Boat-Shaped Formation That Matches Noah's Ark — Coincidence or Evidence? Description: A new radar study from researchers investigating the Durupınar formation in eastern Turkey has reignited one of the biggest questions in biblical archaeology: Did they find Noah’s Ark? Researchers with Noah’s Ark Scans claim ground-penetrating radar revealed possible internal corridors, compartments, and a large hollow chamber beneath the boat-shaped formation. Even more interesting, the site is reported to be approximately 515 feet long, which closely matches the dimensions given in Genesis for Noah’s Ark. In this episode: • What researchers claim they discovered beneath the Durupınar formation • Why the reported 515-foot length matters • How the site compares to the biblical dimensions in Genesis • Why some believe the radar scans point to a buried structure • Why many geologists remain skeptical • How Christians should approach archaeological claims with both excitement and caution • Why our faith ultimately rests in Christ, not in finding the Ark Scriptures Discussed: • Genesis 6:14-16 • Genesis 6:17-18 • Genesis 7:16 • Hebrews 11:7 • 1 Peter 3:20-21 • Matthew 24:37-39 Today’s Challenge: • When you see a headline about the Bible, archaeology, science, or faith, don’t immediately accept it or dismiss it. • Investigate carefully. • Think critically. • Remember that truth never fears examination. Closing Thought: The biggest question is not whether we have found Noah’s Ark. The biggest question is whether we have accepted the salvation that the Ark points toward. Just as God provided one Ark for Noah’s generation, He provided one Savior for ours. Whether this formation turns out to be Noah’s Ark or not, the greater story remains unchanged: God provides a way of rescue for those who trust Him. Thanks for listening today. Daily Devotional: God Doesn’t Waste the Struggle

Episode 89: Daily Devotional: God Doesn't Waste the Struggle Description: Romans 5 is absolutely loaded with encouragement, but one section especially grabbed my attention this morning: "We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." That is so backwards from how the world thinks. Most of us spend our lives trying to avoid suffering. We pray for easier roads, fewer struggles, and less pain. But Paul reminds us that God often does some of His greatest work in the middle of our hardest seasons. In this episode: • Why suffering is not always something to escape • How perseverance is forged through difficult seasons • The connection between character and hope • Why God doesn't waste our struggles • How Christ meets us in the middle of our pain • Finding purpose when life doesn't make sense Scriptures Discussed: • Romans 5:3-5 • James 1:2-4 • Isaiah 40:31 • 2 Corinthians 4:17 • Psalm 34:18 • Romans 8:28 Today's Challenge: • Instead of asking, "God, remove this struggle," ask, "God, what are You teaching me through it?" • Write down one way God may be using your current challenge to strengthen your faith. • Trust that even if you can't see the purpose today, God is still at work. Closing Thought: • Your struggle may be part of God's process. • God is still working, even when you can't see it. • He doesn't waste pain, disappointment, setbacks, or suffering. • Hope in Christ is not wishful thinking—it's confidence in God's promises. • The same God who walks with you through the valley is the God who leads you out of it. Thanks for listening today. And remember—stand firm and walk humbly with the Lord. That's the Hall way. #TheHallHotline #DailyDevotional #Romans5 #ChristianFaith #HopeInChrist

Daily Devotional: Special Episode - 15 Year Old Christian’s First Sermon - The Beatitudes

In this powerful episode, Christian shares a heartfelt sermon on the Beatitudes from Matthew 5 and what it truly means to live a life that reflects Jesus. From admitting our need for God, to mourning over sin, to learning what biblical meekness really looks like, this conversation is a reminder that the Christian walk is not about perfection — it’s about surrender. Christian opens up with personal stories, practical examples, and honest reflections about pride, anger, confidence in Scripture, and trusting God even when life feels difficult. He explains how the Beatitudes are not weaknesses, but a roadmap to righteousness and a picture of the very character of Christ Himself. This episode challenges us to: • Admit our need for God • Stop building false versions of ourselves • Mourn over sin instead of excusing it • Be strong, but under control • Trust the promises Jesus gives to His people • Walk with confidence in the truth of Scripture Whether you are struggling spiritually, trying to grow in your faith, or simply looking for encouragement, this episode points listeners back to Jesus as the ultimate example of humility, authority, mercy, and strength.
