The Interceptive Network - which is that part of the brain that provides self awareness and self regulation - is our brain's internal sensory system.  It helps us identify our internal state and the things outside of our bodies to keep our bodies safe.   This episode explores and demystifies how the "switch" (our insula) allows a child to go from thinking to sensing and feeling.   The goal of this series is to help parents and teachers find ways to improve a child's sense of self!
