Pain is sometimes part of the journey to change

Even when you're committed to a goal, sometimes there is pain along the journey. Today was my reminder that even with commitment, sometimes comes pain.

The simple act of preparing dinner was a reminder (to myself) of how important it is to treat myself like...well like I'm important, my first priority even.

Peace at the end of a bumpy road.

Peace... that's what some of us crave. Sometimes the road to peace can be slow and bumpy. My lesson today was about how slow and bumpy the roads to peace can be. The other lesson was to slow down and keep going. Peace is just off that bumpy road.

An Inconvenient Lesson

Sometimes even inconvenient lessons in life are in our journey and along our path to prepare us for things to come. My inconvenient lesson this morning reminded me of that truth.
