The Honesty Circle
Diary Entry #6: Live it | Welcome to The Honesty Circle š©·āØ You know that phrase, āWhatās meant for me will be for meā? Iāve said it so many times, usually after something didnāt work out, as a way to comfort myself. But lately Iāve been asking: do I actually live like I believe that⦠or do I just say it to feel better? In this episode, Iām catching you up on a few Honesty Circle updates (hello, Wednesday episodes šš¾), inviting you into a new monthly Bible study, and sharing how a simple Black Friday thrifting trip with my sister turned into a whole heart check about control, trust, and outcomes. Her casual, faith-filled āIf itās meant for me, itāll still be thereā wasnāt a reaction after disappointment. It was her starting posture. And that hit me. Hard. Because I usually pull that phrase out when something doesnāt go my way, not before anything happens. This week I talk about: āØSaying āwhatās meant for me will be for meā as a coping phrase vs. a lived conviction āØHow control and attachment to outcomes keep me from really trusting God āØWhat āliving like I believe itā looks like in real life: less tension, less anxiety, more rest and joy If youāre tired of overthinking every outcome, replaying āwhat ifs,ā or saying faith-filled phrases that you donāt actually feel anchored in yet⦠this episode is for you. Iām learning how to live like I believe God is good, intentional, and present before I see how it all works out, and I want that for you, too. Donāt forget to like, subscribe, and leave a review!
