We also reflect on my visit to George Washington's home at Mt. Vernon. We also talk about the importance of every American visiting DC, to better understand our American roots and unique story of our independence.

On this first episode we sit down with Derek Stevenson, Derek is a US Army Veteran and currently works for the city of Lexington Lextran. Derek is also an African American Conservative Republican. We discuss what it's like being a Black Conservative in today's world. We also discuss the importance of the 2nd amendment and free speech.
