A person has the freedom to do things that will not, in theory, or practice, be prevented by other forces. Freedom is an extremely broad subject. I could be about freedom of speech, expressing your own opinions without having to fear any persecution. or about freedom of movement, An extension of this, you can consider freedom in a geopolitical sense, like independence.

Pablo Jose Alvarez and Patricia Capistrano discuss patriarchy as implied in the story. Previewed in the text was how patriarchy became significant in the past years victimizing the women of the olden days. The ruling command of men seemed to put free will under compromisation. This reality of the past contradicts the beliefs that the youth of our current generation fights for.

Ellaine Dioso and  Jaycierell Fiona Asuncion discuss matrilocal residence as implied in the story. Here in our country, we, Filipinos still believe in marriage. We know how important it is to get married before living together. Because marriage is a lifetime commitment of two persons and it is with God’s permission that two people who bow in front of Him should not be separated. In our culture, the family of both parties is very involved in preparing the marriage of two couples.
