Mayukha Bhamidipati reads "A Good Man is Hard to Find," by Flannery O'Connor. This story first appeared in the 1953 anthology, "The Avon Book of Modern Writing." In 1956, O'Connor's short story collection, also titled "A Good Man is Hard to Find," was a finalist in The National Book Awards. After again placing among finalists in both 1961 and 1966, O'Connor was named winner of the 1972 National Book Awards for her anthology, "The Complete Stories." Also among her most notable short stories are "Everything that Rises Must Converge," "A Temple of the Holy Ghost," "The Life You Save May Be Your Own," and "The River."
