Is that not an indication that the tolerant, free thinking, and democratic society we have fought to protect for centuries is an illusion? It is an illusion they turn on whenever they want us to feel like there's something worth defending and an illusion they shut down when they want us to roll over and capitulate. Which we always do. We spoke about sharing all day every day with the big man upstairs, Pauls start in life that presented him with some very adult possibilities. and how that may have affirmed his beliefs.
