It has a load. Welcome. This is Dr. Krista Ryan, and you are on the journey from nurse to health coach. We are so excited that you are tuning in and you are our family member, our new family members. So guys, um, we love, love, love the people within our community because we are helping each other, uh, to create change within our clients and to create change within our own businesses so that we are better tomorrow in our businesses than we ever are starting today.   Just like in your house. And in your health journey, I want you to be healthier tomorrow than you are right now. And you can only do do that by making small steps, most small, consistent changes that create lasting outcome outcomes for you. So guys, this is an exciting spot to be in. We talked about a little bit about recession and how scary it is and the last episode and this.   How your health coach journey is a way to create stability in your life for you and your family, both. So I want to encourage each and every one of you to pat yourself on the back for taking this action and for taking this step forward, just by saying that, yes, I can actually be this person I, uh, before you became a nurse each and every one.   Fought in your head. I can be a nurse. And I actually want you guys to make that conscious thought connection with you being a coach. Because if you don't say I can be a coach, you never end up at the destination where you are that coach. And I don't even want you just to be a satisfactory coach. I actually want you to be on the top of your game.   I want you to be the peak performer, because that allows your clients that come. To you to be, be peak performers themselves. And you could only do that if you really understand the basics that change people's lives permanently. And I'm so excited to welcome you. And, uh, this is really, really cool.   Cause I just want to stop for a second. W, uh, the best thing that I've ever seen was I had a coach come on and coach other people. I got to listen and I heard people ask questions that I didn't even realize that I had a question too. And, and when he answered their questions, It grew me at such a different level because I was actually ultimately able to understand more about what I was doing because he was answering the questions for other people.   Um, and that just doubled the amount of time. It doubled the value for me, uh, within that coaching program. And that's what this Facebook community can do for you too. So I want you guys to tune in and get involved. The more involved you are. The more that your subconscious will know that you are a health coach and not a nurse any more.   And that's what I want you to do. I just want you to take baby steps. The first baby step would to be, be in that place where you know that you're a coach and you have that capability. So, um, that is your first step forward. Um, that's your first step forward to doing coaching is to say that I can be a coach.   And I can't tell you how important that is. Um, I knew when I first became a helicopter pilot that I wanted to be a helicopter pilot, and I kept thinking, what is it going to feel like when I'm the helicopter pilot, what am I going to act like, what am I going to, you know, how am I going to be? And the more I imagined around.   Um, me being in that profession, in that career, the more I could see it, the more everything seemed real. And when I became a pilot, I was like, yeah, this is really awesome. I did the exact same thing as a chiropractor. And I did the exact same thing when I went and was my own boss. And that's what I want you guys to understand too, that you can be your own boss.   You can be a health coach. You are the person that. The thing, but you got to tell your body about it. And so you got to kind of repeat that and you got to do, um, you got to create color or create imagining around that so that your subconscious, um, moves in that direction. You want things on automatic pilot when you're a coach, um, you'll understand this.   The more you put in automatic pilot, the more results that you can focus on. So when you're learning to drive a car and I use this example a lot, I'm so sorry, but it's a great example. So when you learn to drive a car, um, you're focusing on the steering wheel. You're focusing on the buttons that are in the car.   You're focusing on the radio, the person sitting next to you, telling you what to do or yelling at you because you didn't stop restart. Um, when you focus internally, when you're starting a new activity, you're just focused internally, but when something becomes. It be, you can get outside of that body or that car, and you can see the destination.   You can actually move towards the destination in a more efficient manner by putting on the gas pedal and you are going to in the same way, you are going to achieve the same thing. When you, when it's automatic that you are the coach and it becomes subconscious. So guys make your coaching career and your business career.   Uh, subconscious by saying, I am the coach and imagining all the things that a coach might do and the life that you might have, just because you became that health coach. Get A Coach To Be A Coach

Guys alone. Welcome. This is Dr. Krista Ryan, and you are watching the journey from nurse to health coach. We are so excited that you're tuning in today. I actually was just scrolling through my feed and I looked at something that said that a recession is coming. And that seems to be in all the news right now.   And I wanted to get on here and talk a little bit about that today because you know, recession seems like really scary to me and it makes me like frightened of the future and. The thing is, is that we don't have to be when we own our own business. When, when you're in a job you're depending on somebody else to actually give you that job security and give you the future that you need in order to provide for your family.   When you are a health coach. Are the person that creates the income. You are the person that creates the stability as a healthcare professional. You don't have to rely on somebody else. You don't have to show up at work thinking. I don't know if I have a job at the end of the day. Um, you can show up to your own business, create your own schedule, get the income at the.   Whatever you desire, whether it's massive amount of income by, um, creating change or things that help speed the business processes up, or, um, just showing up and doing a little bit of work on a daily basis. It depends on you. You can be recession proof when you're in a job. Such as health coaching because you set your time, you set your hours, you set your income.   And what is more freeing than that when you're facing that looming, looming obstacle of going possibly into recession prices nowadays are skyrocketing. Things are way different than they ever were. Uh, pre. Uh, post pandemic. Um, and so it makes me afraid for my, um, for my future, but I can be assured in my own life that I have the capability of creating a business that produces an income that.   Desire. And I could put as much work as little work in that I want in order to create that change. And guys, this is why I created this podcast. This is why I created this channel so that you guys have that same freedom. You have a same self. Uh, you have that same confidence moving into possibly a recession because you are not dependent on other people in order to provide you and your family with an income, you create your own stability.   You create. What you want out of life and you have the potential to do and be the person that does everything that you might desire. You are going to be able to create your own schedule. So you can connect with your children in a different way. You can connect with your family in a different way. So guys, I was able to have a coach that came alongside me when I first got into business, because I knew that I only knew how to be a chiropractor. I didn't know how I had the business now. I have a little bit of business knowledge, the stuff that I did on my own in, because when I went into chiropractic college, I knew that I wanted to be my own boss.   I didn't want to rely on somebody else. And so because of that, I did lay a little bit of foundation, but I had no experience. And I really didn't understand some concepts in business. I didn't understand major things that became hurdles within my business. But because I had a business coach, I was able to actually overcome obstacles.   And as a health coach, you are here to overcome obstacles for your, uh, clients that come into contact with you. You are able to actually reach them at a higher level. You're able to see where they're at and you're able to shift little things in their lives. You don't have to create change. That's massive.   All you have to do is shift the needle just a little bit and know what needle needs to be shifted in order to create. The most change for your clients and in order to create the most success. So guys, I want to encourage each and every one of you don't hesitate. So go from nurse to health coach, do it.   Now, do it before you get into a situation where things are too overwhelming. And that you have too many things coming from all outside of yourself. You want to be in a spot where you can decide on your own to make that change and make that career choice that gives you the freedom and the stability.   You will not fire yourself. I can guarantee you that you will not, um, try to, um, limit the amount that you spend. Within your business, you are going to be able to pay yourself, um, because you can set your rates guys. And that rate is what you decide and what you bring into the community. So, guys, this is a fantastic area to be in when things like recession, war are looming over our heads right now.   Um, and just the fact that we got through the pandemic. Guys, this is where you need to be. There's a reason why you picked up this podcast. There's a reason why you turn tuned into this, um, channel on YouTube. So guys live with passionate. Health Coaching Tools For Nurses

Hi guys. Hello and welcome. This is Dr. Krista Ryan, and you are listening to the journey from nurse to health coach. I'm so excited that you guys are tuning in today. We are going to be talking about what do we need to teach as a coach? Like, what does that look like? Does it, does it mean that I actually have to be on the top of my health game?   And I'm going to say no. There's four things that you need to understand about the body when you shift any one of those four things, it shifts the destination of the whole. Body. So just like when you drive, when you get in a car, if you were to shift the steering on that car, you're going to reach a different destination.   And guys, the body works as a system. It works as a whole. So if, again, just like in a car, if I press the gas or press the brake, I'm actually going to achieve a different outcome and the whole. We'll do whatever input that I put in. Now, when it comes to diet and exercise, you don't have to just teach about diet.   You do not have to just teach about exercise in order to shift the whole body. When you improve those things, it'll improve the whole body. When you change exercise, it'll improve the whole body or it'll shift it or build it up. Um, the body has four different principles that you. Health coach can shift.   You don't have to rely on just maybe what you used to do. You can actually, I learn some of these things. That'll actually shift the body as a whole, and I'm so excited to bring some of those things to you. Within this podcast episode, we have to lay a foundation first though. And so I'm going to be talking a lot about business basics and bodybuilding in order to, um, create change within your health coaching clients and.   Um, these four things, if you don't know, and I'm going to be teaching a lot about this later on is mindset, mood, molecules, and mechanics, all those four things. If you shift one of those things, it'll put an input into the whole system and shift the destination. Of your vehicle, your vehicle being your body.   So as a health coach, you don't have to rely on just a certain amount of tools. You can actually create a focus for you and your clients so that they can move and be better and healthier tomorrow than you than they ever are today. When you started the process of working with them, do these things have to be big.   Do they have to be huge? Do I. Do I need to know a lot of information, guess what guys you don't. Um, some of this information you don't have to, you don't have to diagnose, you do not have to diagnose that's the job of somebody else, but you can take the person and see where the person's at. And because you're a nurse and you have a body basics and a body foundation of understanding of how the body works, you're able to shift the focus in a way.   You can change small things in order to create a big destination change. So if I was to walk from here to the next city over and I just did a two degrees shift, I actually wouldn't reach the city. I don't have. Um, I make a mistake by a lot in order to create a big mistake down the road. So, and our bodies work the same, the things that you put into your body on a daily basis shifts the whole body in the future and creates a bigger and bigger outcome in the future.   So just like, just like when things diverge. They end up being way, way apart. If you give it some distance or if you give it some time within the body. And so guys, this is what health coaching is. And some of those ways is showing you how to connect with your clients without diet and exercise advice. We don't want to necessarily.   Use the traditional advice or things that they might, your person might be getting from other health care professionals. You want to actually take it a step further. You want to be better. You want to be 2% better because that what creates. Uh, Olympic type of athletic performance is only being 2% better than the next guy.   So guys, in your own business, as a health coach, you just have to be 2% better than the other person. And I have the tools to show you the way to do it without diet and exercise, traditional advice, because anybody that has Google can look up a lot of things. Um, and if you ask anybody, how do you lose weight?   Either exercise more. Or I diet, so people know some of the basics and they have those resources at your fingertips, but we want to use what you have already as a nurse. We want to either get you into a special field specialist field, or we want to make you a generalist, but we want to make you a generalist in a way that is not.   Common, um, so that you can create habits within your coaching clients that create long lasting change. And these habits are not rocket science sometimes shifting the body by shifting those four principles, mechanics, mood, mindset, and molecules. If you shift any one of those things, it will create a destination change for the whole body.   So guys live with passion and we'll see you in the next episode.

We are on the journey from nurse to health coach, and I am Dr. Krista Ryan and I am your host as well as your fellow. Journeyer so thank you for tuning into this episode. We are going to be talking about.   Coaching why that matters, where to begin with coaching and what we want to see you. What I would like to see for you is that coaching becomes automatic, just like you're driving down the road. And when you have driven for a really long time, everything's automatic, you're turning, you're moving around.   You're able to talk to your friend. You're able to actually think about other things other than driving. And guys, I want your practice to become automatic, just like that. When. Things are automatic. You're able to do things so that you can look externally outside of the business and actually, um, increase your business in small ways in order to achieve a lasting impact for you and your client.   And you can only do that. If these skills become automatic and they can become automatic without repetition. And we did talk about that in our last episode. So make sure that this podcast. You repeat it over and over again because, um, knowing this stuff internally makes you that automatic driver and you are the driver of your own career success when it comes to health coaching.   So we are so excited though, because we have the opportunity to come alongside of you. And you can come with your questions and come knowing that there is a community out there that can support you in your health coaching career.   Guys, I wanted to talk to nurses. About health coaching, because you have a body basics foundation, you understand the body basics. And so because you have that inherent understanding, you're able to actually help people in a way that other people don't have as a coach. Um, just like if you got into coaching, gymnastics, whatever you've done in your past, you're able to actually help them through like nutrition or exercise.   So as a kinesiologist, I'm able to actually. Uh, kinesiology is the study of movement in the human body. I'm able to actually make small changes in the way that they move and know that that's making your muscles more efficient. And as a nurse, you're able to make your clients. Um, more efficient through their healthcare habits.   Now, a coach, what does a coach do? Exactly? A coach comes along beside a person, gives them the confidence and the accountability to stick to their goal or do their desired outcome. Guys. A coach is that map. So, um, people are on a journey to being healthier tour than they ever are today. And they have to take steps towards their destination.   And you are, you are the. That shows them how to go from a, to B. Now, when people aren't taking consistent, um, consistent steps forward and creating change in their lives, then they can never reach the destination that they might desire. So as a coach, you come buy and hold. Them accountable to the outcome that they might achieve that does not mean you have to beat them over the head.   In fact, you don't have to do a ton of things with them. You don't have to give them 15 million things in order for them to achieve success. You have to show them this tiny baby steps that needs to happen to create change in their life. And that's not necessarily with diet and exercise all the time. Um, if you listen to our later episodes, we get into.   What are the foundation principles within a body that, that moving one thing helps move the body as a whole. And just like, just like, if I shift the steering in my car, my whole car goes in the one direction. You don't have to have all these things that are actually going to, um, you don't have to know a ton about diet.   You don't have to know a ton about exercise. But if you know a ton about one thing, that one thing can create change and can ultimately change the destination for you and your clients. So guys, this is exciting, exciting stuff, and I'm so excited that you guys are tuning in and I'm so excited that this.   This is journey gives you the opportunity to have freedom in your life. It gives you the opportunity to connect with your kids in a different way. What I struggled in business with was, was I struggled with feeling like. My business, wasn't everything to me that I was able to have a balanced life. I was able to actually have my business on automatic pilot while I connected with my patients as well.   I became the woman I need to be for my husband. And while I had the time that I needed in order to devote to self care. And you have the opportunity to now changing from being a, um, A nurse into health coach. This is going to give you some time freedom. It's going to give you freedom to connect with your family.   It's going to give you the choices that basically choice it's going to give you free. Well, you get to decide what you work on every day when you get up and isn't that exciting and thrilling process, you don't have to say, oh, I'm going to the hospital again. You don't have to feel the wear and tear that happens on your body because you're using your body as a tool.   You're going to be able to use your mind. And your voice as a tool instead, and that is higher level. It is, it is amazing. And it's what we all want within our lives. So guys live with passion and tune into the next episodes.

Turn Your Nursing Career Into A Health Coaching Career

Hello and welcome. I'm Dr. Krista Ryan, and you're listening to the journey from nurse to health coach. We are so excited that you're here with us today. And if you don't know already, we have a Facebook group that goes live on Thursdays from 11 to 12 Eastern standard time. This is an opportunity for you to actually reach like-minded individuals with any questions or concerns that you might be struggling.   So we are here for you in every capacity, as well as teaching you from teaching you the process of turning your nursing career into a health coaching career. Now, why are we doing that? We're doing that to change your future outcome. So you're creating stability. You're creating a life that you want to live.   Um, you are creating an environment where family is important, where you are able to work your schedule, as you said, Fit. All of those things are so important for each and every one of us. And this means that you don't answer to other people, you answer to yourself and you keep yourself org. You keep accountable to a coach.   So coaches need coaches guys. So I learned that very early on in my career with my own, uh, profession. Um, I needed a coach to give me the confidence and the accountability to move. In from being a student, into being a chiropractor that bought her own business. I did not want to make this mistakes that most people make.   And I wanted somebody to come alongside me that had the experience that I could draw on that would give me the confidence to move forward in my own business and would allow me to like run ideas past them and, um, show me the path to the greatest success within my own. Business. And I want that for each and every one of you.   So please turn in tune into both our YouTube channel, as well as our podcasts and our Facebook group at the journey from nurse to health coach. Now we are the reason why I'm teaching the way I am is I really want you guys to have. Bites that you can take and use on a daily basis. Um, and I don't want this to be super time consuming for you.   I want you guys to understand the fundamentals and I want to repeat the fundamentals over and over again, so that you have a really good foundation for your, for your own career. And, um, I actually started this journey with my own coach called Russell Brunson. He does a marketing. Um, he, he does marketing coaching and helps people, um, build their online presence.   And so I actually, he taught me that it was really, really, really important to revisit the basics and. If you know anything about coaching, some of the top athletic performers, their coaches will at the very beginning of a football season, for example, go over. What a ball is and how you handle the ball.   Because as you get better at the basics, you actually can build on the basics and you have control over small things that will have a huge impact to the end game. So you might not be playing football, but we want our end game is to be in healthier tomorrow than you ever are in this moment. Today. And I want that for both you as well as your coaching clients.   So guys, this is exciting stuff. Feel free to go over this material over and over again, the more it becomes unconscious for you, then you're able to be conscious about steering your own ship. It's just like when you first started to drive you, there's a lot of things that happen within the vehicle that you had to concentrate on.   So overwhelming, but now when you're driving down the road, everything is automatic and you can actually look at signs and talk to people next to you. I want that to be your coaching career. I want you to guys to have everything on automatic pilot and build that into your nervous system. So things become a second nature to you.   So success is like assured at that point. Because it's easy guys, things that are super easy. We often don't have to think about. And because we're not thinking about the easy things, we're able to actually move into things that might be more difficult. And as you go into, uh, go from being a nurse to health coach, you do have a foundation.   Of basic body principles that you have, and you are going to achieve greater success as, as a nurse going into health coaching than you ever thought possible because you have a great foundation. And I want to lay down to that foundation for a better business as well. Not just a better body, but a better business.   And so guys, this is exciting stuff. So repeat it, go over this material if you forgotten. And you've been away from this material for. Uh, a little while revisit this. I have had to tell people over my whole career that I'm a professional student, more than I'm a chiropractor or more than I ever been ever was a helicopter pilot.   Um, because when you're professional student, you are able to. You are able to develop skills that nobody else has. And you're able to be just a little bit better than the next person around you, which gives you the performance. Then athlete would have, um, Olympic athletes are only 2% better than their peers.   So guys, we're not asking about massive changes, but. If you change a little bit when, when you, when you're on a journey. So if two people are started a journey together, and one person just goes outside of the line by two degrees, you end up in opposite ends of the world at your destination and your destination.   If you sharpen your skills by 2%, a little bit every day, and you make things go from your conscious mind to your unconscious mind, you are going to be the top performer at the end of the day. And I want that for every single one of you, because that elevates your client's outcome. So guys live with passion and we'll see you on the next episode.
