On this episode of the podcast, Sandy Henry conducts/co-produces a fantastic, superb, pretty energetic, and very conversational interview with me In Person. This is Sandy's 6th time (5th In Person) on the show and we recorded this episode at Greenwood Park in Des Moines. After our introductions, Sandy asked me a bunch of questions and we did a walk between the amphitheater, Rose Garden, and waterfall areas. 1. Who has been on the Juice with Jeff the most number of times? 2. Who are the Dream Guests that haven't interviewed you yet who you would love to have interview you? I did elaborate on a bunch of really special and locally famous celebrities that have interviewed me for the podcast over the last year during part of my answer to this question. 3. How many people do you think have interviewed you over the last nine years you've these interviews done? 4. Is there a question you have never been asked that you wish someone would ask you? So Sandy asked me if I ever played ping pong on that ping pong table in the Meredith Hall Basement and if not, why not? We then start our walk along all the beautiful roses and flowers on the amphitheater stage area and then we hike up the hill to the Rose Garden area of the park where Sandy and I give detailed commentary on all the roses and sculptures we see there. 5. How do you edit the podcasts and what's your goal in uploading the episodes to your platforms? 6. Which platform do your listeners listen to the show on the most? Then after spending quite a bit of time in the Rose Garden area, we then go back down the hill to the waterfall/lagoon area of Greenwood and do the rest of the podcast there. This is Katie's third time and Nic's second time on the show and we recorded this episode at the location where an organization called Cups of Kindness stores their "Millie" and "Tillie" trailers. People with Cups of Kindness take Millie and Tillie to various events throughout the DSM Metro and serve ice cream, pretzels, popcorn, other snacks, and drinks to people for suggested donations at those events. After our introductions, Katie and Nic asked me the following questions for this very special interview: Katie: Who are the most influential people in your life? What was the first job you have ever had? Nic: Talk to us about your dad, about any influences he's had, or other father-like figures in your life? Tell us more about the rest of your family. After confirming that I spent 4 summers as a camper and 3-1/2 summers as a staff member at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin during the 1980's and 1990's, they asked me questions like: Renee: My friend's daughter is going to Ramah Wisconsin this summer. What must have items at camp should she not forget when she goes to the same camp you went to? Andrea: What was your favorite part about being a camper at that camp? On this episode of the podcast, Tiffany Welch conducts/co-produces a fantastic, amazing, and very conversational interview with me In Person for #349. This is Tiffany's fifth time on the show and we recorded this episode at Walnut Woods State Park near West Des Moines.  After our introductions, Tiffany asked me the following questions: In reflecting on the 9 years you've done these audio interviews, what are highlights for you as far as doing the podcast? What are you looking forward to during the summer? After those two questions, I bring up an original musical joke that's pun centered and that led to both of us talking about Weird Al Yankovic's parodies of songs and the music videos that go along with most of them. Then Tiffany and I start our hike in various areas of Walnut Woods State Park. Tiffany and I bring up random things throughout the hike. Other questions Tiffany asked me during remainder of the interview are: Have you ever swam in rivers? Have you ever been to any ocean beaches? Have you ever been out and about and have gotten lost? How long were you on staff at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin and talk about a memory from those? Are there movies you can't get that you wish you could?
