TLCP #122 - 4 Years and a New Xpac

Introduction and General Weeks Events I know folks, it has truly been too long. Machik went on a vacation in August, and so his recording capabilities were limited. Then he recorded this podcast and disappeared for a week, but it is time to finally post it. Machik has been in Kul Tiras and has been loving every minute of it. So how far has he actually gotten? Main Topic - 4 Years and a New Xpac We finally hit four years. The question to now ponder, will we make it five? And if we do, does that mean the game is still going strong? This week we chat about the expansion. Machik has fallen in love with Tiragarde Sound, and the quest lines that flow through this zone. At times he waxes poetic about his love for all thing Kul Tiran.

TLCP #121 - Warbringers Jaina

Introduction and General Weeks Events Machik has FLYING! Yes, he can now fly around everywhere (except those damn TBC zones that haven't been converted). He finished up WoD and just today finished up Broken Isles pathfinder. So what does Machik do with his new found freedom? He plays an alt. Main Topic - Warbringers Jaina The new Warbringers: Jaina cinematic was released earlier this week, and Machik immediately fell in love with it. But as he perused the tweets and forum posts in reaction to this stunning media piece, he was dismayed. "Why," you ask? Because people don't understand the reason for the video. It's not a retcon. It's not supposed to share a ton of new information. It is what it is. A storytelling device to help make us understand Jaina. So needless to say, Machik has much to say.

TLCP #120 - Orcish Traditions

Introduction and General Weeks Events Machik has been a busy boy inside the game. Gravitating from one toon to another, he finally got stuck on an orcish warrior for a bit. Part of this could be attributed to reading Rise of the Horde, but could it have a deeper meaning. Is Machik truly an orc at heart? Main Topic - Orcish Traditions We all know about Mak'gora. We saw it happen during WoD between Thrall and Hellscream. But the orcs have other traditions as well. We look at Om'riggor and Kosh'harg this week. Without these traditions, orcish culture is a bit dull. But add in these orcish traditions and we have a complex society with a deep culture to roleplay. Patreon Peeps Nothing to report this week! Introduction and General Weeks Events This week as Machik travelled around Azeroth, he attacked Horde scum, entered into raids, and roleplayed near Menethil Harbor. Though his artifact weapon is now at full power, there is still plenty to do prior to the expansion dropping. And Machik is enjoying every minute of it. Main Topic - Paladins of the Void If you remember, last week we had an email questioning whether a Paladin of the Void would be possible. So we look at some of the lore history, and whether we could make it work. But rather than use the Naaru, we think maybe the Old Gods would be better suited to provide the darkness needed. Yes, he is a fun, furry, fabulous, feline....worgen?? Yes, folks, he has made the switch to Alliance fully, and so we have a worgen druid representing us on the podcast. Main Topic - Cairne Bloodhoof, the Legend Machik started playing WoW when Cairne Bloodhoof was the leader of the Tauren in Thunder Bluff. He has fond memories of that peaceful and wise chieftain.
