Maximizing the mind everyday

Thoughts are powerful forces that feed into how we feel and our emotions which can eventually impact our physical and mental health. You chose what thoughts to reside in you mental real estate. If you fail to guard what input enters your mind through your senses then garbage goes in and garbage goes out of the mind. The thoughts are processed and these drive the outputs(impact on mind and body). We are created by God to have dominion over ALL things including our thoughts. Be intentional about the kind of thoughts you allow to grow in your mental real estate. Capture your thoughts against Phil 4:8. Develop algorithms derived from scriptures to process information that will grow healthy thoughts and BELIEFS. Cast down negative thoughts. Be in control by using affirmations, autosuggestions, visualisations, meditation and process of mindfulness. Be aware of happenings in your body, and shifting your states to more pleasant and favourable states. The choice is yours to make. Take charge and be in control of your mind by managing your thoughts.

Christian meditation: what is it?

Meditation is a process of enhanced focus and attention inwards away from the external input from the environment through our senses. Your senses are the windows to your mind. Getting into the downtime is key to accessing our subconscious mind. Focusing on scriptures during Christian meditation helps with calming your mind as well as drawing strength from within to cope with adversity. The more meditation and mindfulness practices you engage, the better the outcomes especially in retraining your mind; directing your will and having better control of your feelings and emotions. Do send in feedback and any questions you may have. Remember as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. In other words, you become the thoughts you grow in your mind and these feed into the type of feelings and emotions you experience.
