Man's best friend in creating executive content

A year ago, I dreamed of a Dalmation. His name was Inkwell. Whenever you called his name, he would be ready to fetch a frisbee, a football, or a piece of content. :) You would just tell him what’s been going on during your week, maybe something you read in the New York Times, or even a funny tale of a pitch gone wrong. After a few minutes, Inkwell would take your content to its fellow writing companion (yours truly). The writer would take the transcript and toil over it like he normally does with his clients, and then send it back to you. What I want to talk about today takes the operating discipline you already use in other areas of your business and points it at yourself. I want you to imagine what it would be like to treat your personal brand like you would your company brand. What the best agencies in the world would do with your brand I don’t know if you’ve ever thought about something like this but: What would it look like if you handed your brand to the best creative agencies in the world? I’m just an ad nerd so I’ve been thinking about it for thought leader today. Each of these agencies would apply their unique operating philosophy, so I did a little digging and discovered what that was and boiled it down to a short list for you. Five months ago, I wrote about my run-in with David (name changed), a CEO I thought would be the perfect fit for my work. He didn’t have much going on when it came to his social media presence. I did a small amount of research into his business. It seemed like his ideal clients were on LinkedIn, and would react positively to David becoming more active online. And, based on the stage of his company, hiring little old me didn’t seem like it would be much of a burden. Getting him one client would probably pay for a year of service. His response to my proposal was less than enthusiastic: "Morgan, thanks for the offer. But being LinkedIn Famous isn’t on the bingo card this year. I really need to focus." ..
