The Pan-African Experience Podcast
As we switch to fortnightly publication, the serious but necessary conversation continues. In today’s episode of The Pan-African Experience I spoke to Dr Maurice Amutabi about his book; The NGO Factor in Africa: The case of Arrested Development in Kenya. While acknowledging the positive roles of NGOs (Non-Governmental Organisations) in Africa, Dr Amutabi’s research found that NGOs’ activities also undermine development efforts. Dr Amutabi is a professor of African History at the Technical University of Kenya. He holds a PhD in African History from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, and has written in several journals around the world. I am grateful and honoured to have Dr Amutabi on the podcast.
