Positive Breastfeeding Stories Part Two

Midwife Sharon chats to women about their positive breastfeeding stories. Kayleigh worked in a children's hospital for a time and supported lots of women with breastfeeding challenges so she prepared for her first breastfeeding journey by seeing a lactation consultant and talking to friends and family about the realities of breastfeeding. Kayleigh tells us how she was supported in colostrum harvesting by a student midwife, and how this really helped when her milk was slow to come in. Maria also took an online course with a lactation consultant before her baby was born, and found the information invaluable. Maria also talks about going back to work, weaning her babies, and exceeding her breastfeeding goals.
