15. Former Disney TV Host Meagan Van Dyke Finds Her Musical Groove In The Desert

This week we have a special guest interview with Meagan Van Dyke who is a talented singer and performer here in the desert.  Meagan was raised here in the Coachella Valley but eventually made her way to LA to become an actress and performer. After a successful run as the host of Disney 365 she worked behind the camera for a season and then eventually made her way back to the desert and became a performing artist.  Meagan's journey of exploring her artistic curiosities and making career adjustments along the way will inspire anyone who has dreamed of creating a new life for themselves.  She embodies the most important traits of the truly successful; hard-work, perseverance, and self awareness.  I believe listening to her share her story will inspire you.  Besides telling her story she also shares about some of her favorite places to eat and hang out here in the desert.  We had a great time chatting with her and I can't wait for you to meet her through this podcast!

In this episode we take a few minutes to discuss some of the differences between the communities and what you should know when you're looking at the variety of places to live.  We also challenged Jen's knowledge of Sun City Shadow Hills with a short quiz to see if she's as much of an 'expert' as she claims to be.  Ryan enjoyed testing her way too much.
