Liam Flynn and Joshua Umahi have a chat with Joe Scianablo: the Marine combat veteran, former NYPD officer and prosecutor who is the Democratic candidate for the Town of Hempstead Supervisor seat. In addition to discussing his campaign's priorties, he also expounds on his major problems with his opponent, John Ferretti (R), who is the incumbent Supervisor. On August 25th, Scianablo filed a lawsuit challenging the quick appointment of Ferretti following the retirement of longtime ToH Supervisor Don Clavin and its legality, given the range of advantages that incumbency gives Ferretti in the lead-up to Election Day in November.  Election Day is Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Early voting for Nassau County residents begins on Saturday, October 25, and runs through Saturday, November 2. All additional information can be found on vote.gov, as well as on elections.ny.gov.
