episode Pro-Life vs Pro-Choice: What can we learn from each other? [Episode 002] cover

Description

In this second episode, pastors Sam and Zach seek to understand pro choice arguments from organizations like Planned Parenthood and Pro Choice America.     We know that these are not the only arguments to discuss, and we also know that there are many pro life arguments to consider as well.  The purpose of this episode (and our podcast as a whole) is not to prove which position is right or wrong, but instead to imperfectly model what it looks like to understand opposing points of view.   We may not achieve our goal, we may anger people on both sides of this issues, but we believe the fight to listen with Christlike compassion is worth the struggle.

Can two Christians reconcile their differences on abortion? [Episode 003]

In this episode Zach has an open dialogue about abortion with Darian, a family friend.     As easy as it would be to have a debate on this issue, that isn't what our podcast is about: we are seeking to understand, to follow the Biblical exhortation of listening in the first chapter of James.   There are certainly times for arguing points and positions, but this first dialogue isn't one of them. Our hope is that this conversation can be an imperfect model for how two people with opposing views can build bridges of reconciliation, and to inspire similar conversations.    Please let us know through comments or email what you thought: we would love to know how we can be better reconcilers for God's glory and our good!
