He completed a PhD in Cancer Biology and currently works as a postdoctoral researcher at The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at the University of Miami. His research focuses on harnessing the therapeutic potential of small extracellular vesicles, tiny packages released by cells that can be used as vehicles to deliver valuable therapeutic cargo for protecting and repairing the nervous system after spinal cord injury. In this episode, Jamie speaks about how he went from being a naughty school kid to a postdoc researcher in Miami.
