Because you see something that works and you decide to do what is working - thats smart - - so Arnold Schwarzenegger saw the picture of Reg Park in a magazine - Reg Park was the Mr. Olympia when Arnold was 14 years old - Reg Park also had a career in films - 14 year old Arnold - basically copied Reg Park - his copied his whole life - that was intelligent - But he didn’t just copy - he did it better than Reg Park - this is where he stole it - So once again - Do what works - i.e. copy - but then do it better - by doing it better - you put your signature on it - and it becomes yours - so first you copy - but then you do it so well - that you steal it - it becomes yours - Arnold copied Reg Park - but today -- you might not know who Reg Park is - you know who Arnold Schwarzenegger is - Arnold didn’t just copy - he stole it - Another way of putting this - Fake it till you make it - Faking is another way of saying --- Copying --- If you truly copy day after day - what Great people are doing - be default -- you become good - but eventually - but eventually -- You do it better than who did it first - and at that point -- you steal it -- Facebook copied Myspace - but then they did it better - and you are now wondering - What is Myspace? Instagram copied Snapchat Story - hmm - you’re thinking - What is Snapchat again? - you probably never used snapchat Google was not the first search engine - They copied someone - they stole it so nicely --- I don’t even know who they copied -- I just know Google- - A guy named Sam Walton opened a couple of shops in America - and wrote a book about it - Name of the Book - Made in America - Jeff Bezos read this book many times and copied the idea to make Amazon - Name of this shop - WALMART You thought all these ideas were original? Turns out - they all are thieves - No ideas are original - In Geeta they say - Tumne jo liya yahi se liya - jo diya yahi pe diya - which means - Everything that you have - you got it from here - and everything you lost - you lost it here - so what are you crying about? We are a product of influences and opportunities -- which this world bestowed upon us. Instagram- @theshaktichauhanshow Your ability to learn the importance of a lesson is directly proportional to the price you paid ---- to learn it - I wanted a Hollywood type physique - I paid 100k dollars to learn about fitness - nutrition - workout - everything about getting a hollywood physique - you know what I realized - all the information was available for free on Google and Youtube - but I didn’t pay attention to it - I had to pay 50k dollars to learn that lesson - so I pay attention - Dan Lok is a coach who provides coaching and consulting to his students - He teaches Business - Marketing - Copywriting - His teacher told him to double his price for Consulting - Dan Lok was scared to double his price - he didn’t want to lose his clients - His teacher said - they won’t leave you - they will respect you more - and they will execute better on what you are teaching them --- When they pay more - they will have more buy in --- Dan Lok increased his price - double - overnight - and sure enough - number of his students increased -- quality of his students increased -- and they got even more success than before- Owen Cook said to me - Shakti - you know why people don’t read books - Because they’re cheap - People pay 15 dollars for a book and they never bother to open it - Why? Because they paid 15 dollars for it. There is Millions of dollars of worth of wisdom in that book - they don’t open it Take Daniel Kahnmann’s book - Thinking - Fast and Slow - this man got a nobel prize for his work - he puts his life’s work into a 30 dollar book - everyone buys it - and nobody reads it - Charlie Munger is Warren Buffet’s right hand man - He wrote a book called Poor Charlie’s Almanac - He put a price tag of $400 - he’s a billionaire - does he need to make money from the book? No - He wants you to have some buy in - unless you pay - you won’t pay attention. Dan Pena realized - there is a way any person could make 100 Million dollars - starting from nothing - he wrote a book about it - Your First 100 Million - and announced a seminar to teach everyone his method - cost of the seminar - FREE. Then Jay Abraham came and told him - Yeah - that doesn't work - we already tried that - You have to make them pay - Make them pay - Now his book costs 1000 pounds - Your First 100 Million - And he charges 25000 pounds for a 5 day seminar - and the price goes up every year. It was 20000 pounds when I took it - 1 year ago - Now -- its 25000 pounds. Unless you pay - you don’t learn ---

Bad Spending habits. “Its not a problem - its not that bad” -  until it becomes very bad. When exactly did it become a problem - its hard to say Lets say - You slip-- and you fall down - Which part did you exactly lose control. Can you point out and say -its hard to point out exactly - isn’t it - Even if you look very carefully - lets say you watch yourself in slow-motion- the part where you lost control ---- It was already too late to do anything about it-- So --you may have bad eating habits - when exactly do you decide - its a problem - its difficult to say - Its a slippery slope - A friend of mine is about 70 Kg overweight - he’s a great guy. Jovial - funny - charming - Do you think he planned to be 70 Kg overweight? No. He let himself go one day at a time - just a little bit everyday - until one day - it was too late - now its really hard to go back- Another friend of mine has a problem with Alcohol - he’s like a brother - I had a fight with him 1 week ago because he sent me a nasty voice message while he was drunk - Next day I called him when he was sober and gave him a piece of my mind -  I may never speak to him again - I lost a friend - Do you think he planned to be like that? No. He slipped. We all slip into behaviors that we don’t want. One of my friends, recently died. He was 50 Kg overweight. He was 34 years old. One of my beloved directors - who taught me Acting - died at 36. He used to smoke. My father died of Cancer at the age of 48 - he smoked. Do you think they planned for this? 9/10 adults drink Alcohol. How many of them are at a risk of having a problem with Alcohol? I don’t know ----- we have to see--- We have to wait and see -- until-------- until it will be too late-- Jordan Peterson said about bad habits - Kill the dragon when its small - because you won't know what to do when he turns into a Monster! What I want to say to you is this ----- Identify the slippery slopes in your life - - and refuse to walk on those paths - Because if you lose control - when you lose control - It might be too late

One day --- this was 5 years ago - Me and my best friend - Laul - were sitting and talking -- and he said to me - Shakti -- your dream to make 1 Billion dollars-- I want to say something -- After a moment of silence -- he said -- I don’t think it is possible - I said - What do you mean? - I don’t think it is possible -- I know Mark Zuckerberg and all these people did it -- but they were born just at the right time - when the internet was starting--  and even though they worked hard -- bro ----a lot of people work hard -- In a regular business setting - it is incredibly hard to even make 10 Million dollars --- It can take a lifetime sometimes -- I don’t know if this is possible to do in one generation - All I am saying is - maybe it will take 2-3 generations to get there --- Now -- Laul was not a foolish guy - he was one of the most intelligent people I knew -- He was also not a Naysayer -- he loved me like a brother -- and he wanted me to win -- I didn’t have an answer for him that day -- I just told him -- I don’t know how -- but I am going to do it - I just know I will -- He nodded and life moved on. I found the answer - 5 years later - one of teachers gave it to me-- My teacher said -- Shakti - Money is a Doubles Game - I said - What does that mean? If you have a $1000 dollars to your name - which is where most people are -- You are 10 doubles away from  1 Million --  Explain -- So you’re at 1000 - you double your money - now you’re at 2000 - Then you double - 8 - 16 - 32 - and so on - after 10 doubles - you will be at more than 1 Million. If you are at 1 Million dollars -- guess how many doubles you need to get to a Billion? ----- Ten --- thats it -- So I crossed Million dollars a few years ago - I am currently 8 doubles away from a Billion -- This is how it works -- You make the first Million - the next Million is not as hard as the first one -- Once you are at 2 Million - its really not a big deal to make another 2 - Before you know it - you are at 15-20 Million - now you are 2 doubles away from 100 Million -- Once you’re at 100 Million  -- you can almost smell the Billion -- you are 4 doubles away - thats it --- The power of Compounding is why this happens - Your results compound over one another - Einstein said - Compound Interest is the greatest force in the world - His quote really speaks  about the power of compounding anything. It is hard at first -- but with every step - it will get easier -- The one who realizes this - will do great things in life --

GET COACHING - BOOKS Everything you want to do - thankfully - has been done before. But we still try to figure it out ourselves - We don’t need to. You want a shortcut in life - 2 words - GET COACHING - Whatever you want to do in life - someone somewhere has put in years of time into it --- And they can help you learn 5 times faster - if not more. If you can’t hire coaches - One Word - Books But wait there’s more - So - I pay thousands of dollars - per month - to coaches who mostly just do one thing- that is - to Keep me Accountable. It doesn’t take an expert a lot of time to give me the Knowledge he has. We can finish the session in 2 hours - he can paint the roadmap for me - and done! Right? No - I need them to keep me accountable. Why do I need a world class guy to do that? Can't I just have an alarm? To keep reminding me? ----It doesn't work. Maybe because I can snooze the alarm. Ok-- can’t I hire a human being - one of my staff to remind me? --- I can’t snooze him-- right? No that doesn’t work either. The reason is this- We are wired to listen to people who have qualified themselves and earned the right to lead us. I need a guy that is living that discipline to - not only remind me - but to inspire me -- into Action. When a world class guy is keeping me accountable, he is not just reminding me, he is inspiring me. This is what he will say to me - do you know what kind of a week I had?! These are the 17 things I got done in the last 7 days. What the fuck did you do?! Dan Pena says - Look at my castle - you dumbfuck - look at my Rolls Royce Phantom- You think you're hot shit, with your shitty Mercedes! With your Tom Ford suits - how much did you pay for that suit? My tie costs more than your entire suit. He’s wearing watches of brands I don’t even know. There’s one guy I know that said to me - Rolex is a poor man’s watch. Then I'm like - 😶😶 I need to get back to work. You need to surround yourself with winners. One way is to GET COACHING. Otherwise - BOOKS.
