The film covers the events that took place on May 5th, 1991, as people took to the streets of Washington D.C.’s Mount Pleasant neighborhood to protest the police shooting of Daniel Gomez, a young man from El Salvador.  Cindy is a social justice-minded filmmaker, photographer, and media producer specializing in documentary + non-profit video storytelling. As a daughter of Salvadoran immigrants and a first-generation American, her work is dedicated to ethically supporting and amplifying the voices + stories of people, communities, and realities that are marginalized + oppressed. From having open conversations about money stories, money trauma, budgeting, debt and saving for financial goals, Lea is able to help her clients align their wealth and cultivate a beautiful relationship with money.  In this very important conversation Lea discusses some of the trends she sees in our communities and ways we can approach our relationship with wealth and money.
