Heavenly Relationships

A criticism that is sometimes levelled at Christians is that they can be, 'too heavenly minded and no earthly good' but that is exactly what Paul encourages the church at Colossae to do, 'Set your minds on things that are above...' (Col 3:1). Today we look at 5 traits Paul lists in his letter to the Colossian Christians that follow on from this encouragement and what they might look like in our daily lives.

The Divide

Do we have a sacred/secular divide between church and our Monday to Saturday work? What does scripture have to say about bridging the gap

God at Work - being Christian in the everyday world

Whether we are paid for what we do throughout the week or not, we believe our relationship with God is to be the basis for how we live. So what does scripture have to say about our work? In whatever we do with our time, we all grapple with issues such as conflict, maintaining relationships, ethics, stress and seeking fulfilment – what might it look like to be a disciple of Jesus in those situations?
