Kuvaus

This episode is a recording of a conversation I had with a client where we explored the thoughts and feelings that many of your clients likely experience on a daily or weekly basis. Take the time to understand what your clients are going through, and make sure you're delivering what they need. Your success depends on it.

Why Free work is priceless

Episode 4, April 14th call: - More discussion-based - Someone asks about how to go about turning casual conversations/friendliness into clients - One person says be straightforward, “I’m a personal trainer starting some online stuff, if you know anyone in the area who is looking for ways to stay fit…” - Someone else ran an online session for a company, but the company let her open it to anyone who wanted to join, so she messaged a bunch of people, anyone who had ever asked about rates/engaged with her stories etc., and people showed up/started following her/followed up via DM afterwards - You talk about the value of doing stuff for free, if you’re getting something valuable in return. You make connections, and that’s a big reason why people buy things: they think “I like this guy, and he has good materials” — reasons adding up to buy - Don’t be afraid to ask for things in return, even if they’re not money - Jerry asks about incentivizing people to go out and spread the news about your product. You respond that you don’t always find that to be a worthwhile endeavour, because the best spokespeople will be the ones who love what you do, not the people who need to be pressured/externally motivated to share - Then there’s some discussion about specific to-do/takeaways for people, let me know if you want to cut out this section, which essentially amounts to problem-solving, but I especially found the first one useful if you have any questions, please email calum@strongtoronto.ca and we'll do our best to help you out
