Episode 8 - Tilted Optic

We are products of our own experiences and environment. Those environments and experiences help to form the lens through which we filter and interpret information, exchanges, and events. How do we tilt our optic to gain a different perspective and seek to understand?

Episode 7 - Knowledge Shelf Life

Do we understand everything we know? It was estimated that that up until 1900, the amount of information was doubled every 100 years, but by 1945 it doubled every 25 years. In 2021, the amount of information doubled every 12 hours. Further research identified the “Knowledge Half Life” as the amount of time it takes before half the knowledge or facts in a particular area is made obsolete or superseded by new facts. To that end, we discuss how our own interpretation of information and facts evolves, or changes, throughout our lives and the influence this has upon on our thoughts and decisions.

Episode 6 - Alignment

Are we demonstrating or living the values we say we hold in thought and action? We discuss the influences that impact our thoughts and behavior as we examine the values we hold to determine if these are congruent with our actions in our pursuit of self-awareness.

Episode 5 - Residue

Juan and Mike discuss how we derive at our past, current and future circumstances and the influences that bring us to those places. We explore the the impact of our own thoughts, and consumptions of thoughts,  and if we have the ability to control what we think.

Episode 4 - Probing the Origin of our Goals

Juan and Mike discuss this "frozen middle" time period between Christmas and the New Year. The GOALs narrative is a prevalent theme during this unique time period and we explore the origins of our goals from the intrinsic perspective.  If we seek what we find...are we properly oriented towards what we "truly" desire?  What influences are influencing our goals? Are our actions in alignment with those goals?
