Artificial intelligence is scary smart. Like, don't-bet-on-yourself-in-any-board-game-contest-against-the-computer smart. Ever. But board games are one thing. it's another thing to wonder if A.I. can beat humans at actually.... being human. Can (and would) a powerful body of artificial intelligence simulate humanity, and what would that look like? We really don't know, but we're sure that if it did, it would do it more efficiently than we would.
