A lot of you will have seen the news breaking today about the donation by Maryse Fitzpatrick and her husband Travis Knight and the new facilities that will be built for Portlaoise GAA club by 2027 The new development will commemorate Eoin Fitzpatrick, former senior hurler for the town, and his son Dylan who died tragically on holidays 2 years ago This a story of rags to riches to rags to riches - this is the story of Portlaoise GAA Club

Ep.2 Cahir Healy

Our second guest is the great Cahir Healy. A fans favourite and warrior on the field, Cahir won 12 County titles in football & 2 Leinster titles and a hurling title, winning the double in 2004.

Ep.1 - Mick Dooley

Our first guest on The Town End is man who played for Portlaoise in the 1970’s and 1980’s - a winner of 8 county titles, 3 Leinster titles and An All ireland club title - a mainstay in midfield for the Town, the great Mick ‘Gorta’ Dooley
