The University of Florida Podcast
Hey Gators, it's Jenny with your Campus Update for December 1 through December 8. Let's get you set for the week—fast. First up—classes end this Wednesday, December 3. Make sure all your assignments are wrapped up and submitted on time. Next, Thursday and Friday, December 4 and 5, are reading days. No classes, so use this time to prepare for finals. Finally, final exams kick off this Saturday, December 6, and run through Friday, December 12. Double-check your exam schedule and locations to avoid any last-minute surprises. Over the weekend, our Gators men's basketball team clinched a thrilling victory against the Florida State Seminoles, edging them out 78-75. Guard Marcus Johnson was on fire, scoring 22 points and leading the team to success. Looking ahead, the Gators will host the Kentucky Wildcats this Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the O'Connell Center. Let's pack the stands and show our support! Feeling the end-of-semester stress? The Student Government is hosting a "De-Stress Fest" on Thursday, December 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Reitz Union Lawn. Enjoy free massages, therapy dogs, and relaxation stations to help you unwind before finals. On the dining front, the popular food truck "Gator Bites" will be stationed outside Library West all week from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Swing by for some delicious study fuel between your study sessions. This week in Gainesville, expect mild temperatures with partly cloudy skies. There's a 40% chance of showers on Thursday, so it might be wise to carry an umbrella just in case. Your move: If you're planning to graduate this semester, ensure all your graduation requirements are met and any necessary paperwork is submitted by Friday, December 5. Don't let a missed deadline delay your big day! That's your quick Campus Update. I'm Jenny—catch you next Monday morning. Tap follow on your podcast app so you never miss a beat.
