There comes times in life when you must decide to stand your ground; at work, maybe with your friendships, in your relationship... You must decide if you are going to, as Brené Brown says, “Shrink down, puff up or stand your own sacred ground.” But what happens when you don’t? What happens when a person allows themselves to be invalidated on a regular basis? What happens when you choose to shrink down to fit the people around you? Let’s talk about this today.

The calling of the non-ordinary realms after my mother’s suicide and eventual initiation into shamanism, have brought my life full circle...at least for now. Is the walk around the medicine wheel ever really complete? My guess is, no; not even when we step off the Good Red Road into the Blue.
