Description

Kerri and Ashley talk about fall happenings at The Westport Library and reasons to fall in love with your library!   Then we kick it up a notch with some ghost stories from our Staff – Diana G, Jennifer & Alex! Thank you all for sharing your stories with us!   Keeping with the creep, StoryFest authors, Ryan LaSala & Clay McLeod Chapman both read a short scary excerpt of their choice for our listeners.   Then we lighten it up with a Pinkerific conversation with local and larger than life author Victoria Kann about the upcoming Pink or Treat Halloween Parade on Oct.27   Finally, we close it out with the State of the Libraries, a fun segment where we highlight what is happening at libraries around the world!   And since we had a few minutes left on air, Ashley played some new music from her best friend from Jamaica [https://music.apple.com/us/album/tales-of-reality/1758894778], Kumar Fyah, lead singer of a band she used to work with (Raging Fyah). His new reggae project is incredible, and Ashley was happy to introduce two songs to WPKN’s audience before the album releases on October 18!
