The Wild Faith Podcast: Stories of Courage, Calling & Trust
What do you do when the plan falls through… and the direction changes? I came to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, thinking it would be a short chapter - just a few months of housesitting before moving on. But what unfolded was something completely different. In this episode, I share the real story behind this season - how one housesit turned into another, how plans unexpectedly fell through, and how I thought it meant God was leading me somewhere new. So I followed those nudges. I listened. I moved. But along the way, I realised something deeper… I wasn’t being led away - I was being asked to stay. Because this is how it often works - God won’t show you the whole path. He will only show you the next step. And it’s in those moments that your faith, trust, and courage are required to keep moving forward. This episode is about learning to discern the difference between movement and alignment, trusting when things don’t go to plan, and staying open when the direction shifts. A real and honest reflection on what it looks like to follow God - even when the path isn’t linear.
