Description

This episode is a profile piece that surrounds one of the most interesting people that I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. What started as a request to interview the CEO of a class one railroad turned into an opportunity to learn about a person who genuinely believes in helping people and making a difference.  Moore is currently the senior vice president of corporate relations and chief administration officer (chief of staff for the CEO) at Union Pacific Railroad. Moore was twice elected Nebraska's Secretary of State following eight years as a state senator for Nebraska's 24th legislative district. He was first elected to Nebraska's unicameral legislature in 1986 and serves as president-elect for the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce. Moore is also a member of the board of directors for the greater Omaha chamber of commerce and Durham Museum. His executive profile can be found on Union Pacific's corporate profile page [https://www.up.com/aboutup/corporate_info/exec/].  As always, make sure to follow me on Twitter [https://twitter.com/dreaddsloth], Instagram [https://www.instagram.com/steve_dreaddsloth/], and my blog on Medium [https://medium.com/@steven.persichette] to continue the conversation. Your continued support makes interviews such as this possible, giving me the privilege of sharing people's stories.

The Cultural Affects of Content Creators

Fellow cult members: This episode is part of a class assignment for my study of journalism and media communications. This is a short introduction into a fascinating topic surrounding emerging mass media and their affects on our culture as a whole. I wish this could have been much longer, but this little bonus content is a teaser into a subject that is currently fascinating my tiny little ADHD riddled brain.  As always, thank you for taking the time listen to my show. Please make sure to like and subscribe, and if you would like to be featured in a future episode, leave a voice message over at anchor.fm.  Resources utilized in researching this topic are linked/cited below:   https://fortune.com/2020/12/08/aoc-twitch-live-streaming-young-voters/ [https://fortune.com/2020/12/08/aoc-twitch-live-streaming-young-voters/] Munger, K., & Phillips, J.
