Yoga Nidra for New Year Intentions | Sankalpa, NSDR & Deep Relaxation

This is a live recording from the New Year Embodiment event I hosted to close out 2025 and step into 2026 with clarity and intention. In this Yoga Nidra / NSDR practice, we begin by gently relaxing the nervous system so the body can soften and the mind can quiet. From this grounded, receptive state, you’re guided to connect with your sankalpa — a New Year intention that comes from inner truth rather than pressure or goals. This practice supports deep rest, nervous system regulation, and embodied intention-setting, making it a powerful way to begin the year or return to whenever you need clarity and grounding. 5 minutes of calm- short & sweet guided meditation

welcome back to the Yogic Snooze! this episode is a little different — a tiny pocket of stillness you can slip into your day. Unlike the Yoga Nidras, this is a five minute meditation built around gentle breathwork and a simple visualization with a single word. Think of it as a reset button you can reach for whenever you need to soften your nervous system and come home to yourself. You can do this practice seated, eyes open or closed, or even while walking outside. It’s designed to weave into real life — the in between moments, the transitions, the days when you don’t have twenty or thirty minutes to lie down. Even a few minutes like this can shift your state. Slow, intentional breath helps regulate the vagus nerve, ease tension, and bring you out of mental overdrive. A focused word or visualization gives your mind something soft to rest on, creating a subtle but powerful pattern interrupt — a moment where your system remembers it’s safe, steady, and allowed to exhale. Take these five minutes for yourself. Let them be enough. Let them be a reminder that peace doesn’t have to be a long ritual — sometimes it arrives in the smallest pause. Enjoy!

gratitude nsdr: a yoga nidra practice to shift your perspective

Create the Energy You Want to Receive... When we create an inner environment of gratitude, life meets us with more of it. This practice is here to help you soften, open, and attune to the energy you wish to invite in. Gratitude isn’t just something we think about — it’s something we can feel in the body, breathe into, and expand from the heart. In this guided yoga nidra / NSDR practice, we’ll explore gratitude as a state of being: 🌾 honoring the harvest of this season and your own growth 💛 offering yourself the thank-yous you most need to hear 🌙 resting into the breath as a gift, each inhale and exhale a moment of connection Find a quiet space, make yourself cozy, and let’s rest into gratitude together.
