Day 152. Job 1-4

Job is introduced as a righteous and prosperous man. In a series of devastating events, he loses his possessions, his children, and later his health. Despite his suffering, Job does not abandon God. His friends arrive to comfort him, and Job begins to express the depth of his grief.

Day 151. Esther 6-10

The king honors Mordecai after discovering his loyalty. Haman’s plan is exposed, and he is brought down. Esther reveals the plot, and the Jews are given the right to defend themselves. They are delivered, and the events are remembered with celebration.

Day 150. Esther 1-5

Queen Vashti is removed, and Esther is chosen as queen. Haman rises to power and plots against the Jews. Mordecai urges Esther to act, and she prepares carefully before approaching the king. A plan begins to unfold as tension builds.

Day 149. Nehemiah 12-13

The wall is dedicated with celebration and worship. Priests and Levites are organized for service. Later, Nehemiah addresses issues that arise, correcting wrongdoing and restoring proper practices. He works to maintain the integrity of the community.

Day 148. Nehemiah 10-11

The people make a covenant to follow God’s law and commit to specific practices. Leaders and families seal the agreement. Some are chosen to live in Jerusalem, while others remain in surrounding towns. The community is reestablished with order and intention.
