The 13th Amendment and Juneteenth

Juneteenth commemorates one of the most significant milestones in American history—the final enforcement of freedom for enslaved African Americans following the Civil War. Battle of Waterloo

The 250th Anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill

The Battle of Bunker Hill was one of the first major battles of the American Revolution and became a powerful symbol of patriot determination and courage. Fought near Boston on June 17, 1775, the battle took place after colonial militia forces fortified Breed’s Hill overlooking British-held Boston. Although the British ultimately captured the position, they suffered devastating losses while attacking the determined American defenders. The battle proved that the inexperienced colonial forces could stand against one of the strongest armies in the world.
