In fact, all the commandments, such as those against stealing, murdering, and coveting, can be summed up in the command to love one's neighbor as oneself. Love for others should guide believers in their interactions with the government and society at large. We need to cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light, embracing the values of righteousness, integrity, and love.
