Mooglecast, Bonus Episode 6 | Net Neutral Dude | Max X Colin
Warmest of Welcomes everybody. Max and Colin have a quick catch up in this bonus episode as a sort of last hurrar before the arrival of his daughter and some time away from the network. We discuss his excitement for the upcoming Resident Evil and how he is going to be making time for it, plans for Platinum 150, what we've been playing and reflective thoughts on the Trophy Talk Network and what the future may hold. As always, be excellent to eachother. See you in Feb! Max
Shooting the Shit - Episode 1: Duke Nukem Forever
Hey there folks! Welcome to a special little bonus episode for us here on the Trophy Talk Network. Recently Gary Cooper and I (Colin) happened to be playing through Duke Nukem Forever at roughly the same time. The more we chatted about the game, the more we realized that perhaps this much aligned 2011 game doesn't get the praise it deserves. While the graphics and humor were certainly a bit dated even back when it originally launched, there's something charming about the level design, puzzles, and overall interactivity of the world. So sit back, strap in and join us as we shoot the shit about a sleeper hit from a bygone era. Come get some!
Surviving the Horror - Episode 21: Clock Tower: Rewind
Hello one and all, and welcome back to another episode of Surviving the Horror! In our first episode of 2026, Josh and Colin go all the way back to the distant past of 1995 to talk about Clock Tower: Rewind. While this particular version released in 2024, the original game released in September of 1995 on the Super Famicom in Japan. Clock Tower: Rewind marks the first time that this original game in the franchise has been available in the United States and to a larger audience. As a very retro, point and click style adventure horror game, Clock Tower follows the journey of one Jennifer Simpson, as she and several friends from Granite Orphanage find themselves on the precipice of being adopted by a wealthy but reclusive man named Simon Barrows. Upon arriving at the Barrow's mansion, (also known as Clock Tower due to its most prominent architectural feature), Jennifer is quickly separated from her friends and forced to navigate the mansion to find out just what the hell is going on. Will Jennifer make it out alive? Will she discover the secrets of the Barrow's property? Just how important is this random meat item that she can pick up? All of that is for you dear listener to discover, and for Josh and I (Colin) to elaborate on. Clock Tower: Rewind is most certainly a retro experience, but it's easy to see the DNA of so many other future horror titles that it would go on to inspire. We hope that you enjoy this look into the past!
Mooglecast, Episode 19 | Me, Halo and a Pizza | Our Most Anticipated Games of 2026
Warmest of Welcomes everyone This month on the Mooglecast myself (Max) and Zac are joined by Trophy Room patron Katieeee to talk about all things 2026 but not without first feeling our bones ache by acknowledging some of the great games that turn 10 years old this year! So happy birthyear Dishonored 2, Dark Souls 3, Overwatch, Final Fantasy XV and Pokemon GO. For the preshow Katie kicks us off by sharing her experiences and approach to streaming, followed by our usual run of platinum shoutouts and a series spotlight on DOOM, from there we insert a new segment into the show titled Cactuar Vs Tonberry where myself and Zac kick off our friendly comp for the year. The main Meat & Potatoes of the show are taken up by what we've been playing and of course our main topic discussing our top 5 most anticipated games of 2026. Enjoy the first show of 2026 and we'll see you next month, but until then... be excellent to each other. Max
PS Plus Game Club - Episode 37: Somerville
To kick off the new year Brady (FatePrime) joins the show to talk about Somerville, the first game from the indie studio Jumpship. Many on the Jumpship development team come from another indie studio, Playdead, who were famous for making Limbo and Inside, so you might recognize many elements of those famous games here. To start the show Both Kevin and Brady describe what made those early games so special and how they see the DNA of them in Somerville. Then they cover some of the puzzles that either fascinated or frustrated them and some of their favorite story moments in a semi-spoilery fashion. Near the end Brady reveals a theory that helps make sense of all five possible endings and what they mean for the overall story of the game. We wish you a happy new year and hope you enjoy this discussion about just a regular guy trying to survive an alien invasion in Somerville.
