23 episodesDr. Dallara-Marsh is a neurologist who specializes in working with children. She attended an accelerated BS/MD program, completing undergraduate studies at Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education and then a medical degree at SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn. After those 7 years, she trained in pediatrics at Westchester Medical Center. To further her expertise within the field, Dr. Dallara-Marsh completed fellowships in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology and Epilepsy at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia. Some of Dr. Dallara-Marsh’s interests include child neurology, epilepsy, and palliative care. She currently works in a private-practice setting in New Jersey. Dr. Sinha is a neurosurgical resident currently at the University of Pennsylvania. After graduating from Tufts University, Dr. Sinha attended Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where he was an active member of the admissions committee. There he was inducted as a junior member into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society as well as the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Sinha took a research year during medical school as well, performing neurosurgery research at Columbia University. As a resident in neurosurgery, Dr. Sinha sees patients with diseases that affect the entire nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. In his presentation, he details two cases involving a ruptured intracranial aneurysm and a meningioma compressing the spinal cord. Dr. Bradshaw is a family medicine doctor who has practiced in a variety of settings over the course of the last several decades. He attended Baylor University for his undergraduate degree and became a CPA before deciding to attend medical school. After completing his pre-med requirements, he attended the University of Texas Medical School at Galveston and then completed training in family medicine. He has worked in private practice in the community, academic medical centers, nursing homes, emergency departments, and more. He has also served on the medical school admissions committee at UT Southwestern. Dr. Tang is a Hospitalist at Boston Children’s Hospital specializing in pediatric hematology-oncology. She attended Upstate Medical University for medical school and the University of Connecticut for residency. As a physician-scientist, she has been actively involved in research, presented findings at scientific meetings, and prepared manuscripts for scientific publication. In addition to her medical training, she obtained a Master’s degree in Biotechnology at Columbia University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical and Translational Investigation at New York University. She is dedicated to being a part of an innovative research community focused on developing groundbreaking discoveries for pediatric hematology/oncology patients. Dr. Sun is currently a plastic surgery resident at Johns Hopkins. He attended Duke University for his undergraduate education before moving on to medical school at the Yale School of Medicine. He had extensive experience in biomedical/tissue engineering which led him to pursue plastic surgery as a career path. Much of Dr. Sun’s day is spent in the operating room treating patients with a variety of conditions warranting surgical repair. As a plastic surgeon, he uses techniques such as grafts and flaps and has a detailed knowledge of human anatomy. Outside of his training, Dr. Sun enjoys cooking, photography, and hiking.
