Dr. Tali Lando is a pediatric otolaryngologist, speaker and survivor of advanced breast cancer whose compelling voice bridges the worlds of medicine and memoir. Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Airway at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Cornell-Columbia ENT residency program. She maintains a busy academic practice at the Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital of Westchester Medical Center. Her debut memoir, Hell and Back: Doctor and Patient, Wife and Mom, Dragon Slayer, uses raw honesty in describing her battle with advanced stage breast cancer as a young surgeon and mother of three.
