WakeUp Daily Bible Study
Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason. Today’s episode answers a great question: why is the story of Jesus told four different times in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John? Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason explain that the Gospel is told four times because each book gives us a different picture of who Jesus is. You are not just seeing repetition. You are seeing different angles, different emphasis, and different revelation of the same Savior. Just like one story can be told from different perspectives, the four Gospels help paint a fuller picture of Christ. One highlights His kingship. Another emphasizes His humanity. Another shows His servant heart. Another reveals His divinity. Together, they give us a richer, deeper understanding of who Jesus really is. They also point out that the story of Christ is not only in the four Gospels. You can actually see Jesus all throughout the Bible. His story is woven into the lives of David, Samson, the Exodus, and so many other places. The whole Bible is constantly pointing us back to Him. This episode is a great reminder that God did not give us a flat, one-dimensional picture of Jesus. He gave us a full and powerful revelation of His Son from multiple angles so we could know Him more deeply and see His nature more clearly.
