Watch For Deer
In 1982, seven people in the Chicago area died after taking Extra-Strength Tylenol capsules that had been secretly laced with cyanide. The victims ranged from a 12-year-old girl, Mary Kellerman, to adults who unknowingly purchased the tampered bottles from local stores. Panic spread nationwide as investigators discovered the poisonings were random, terrifying, and likely carried out after the products hit store shelves. The case sparked one of the largest criminal investigations in U.S. history, led to a massive Tylenol recall, and forever changed consumer safety with the introduction of tamper-proof packaging. More than 40 years later, the murders remain unsolved. Sources: Netflix Documentary, FBI Case Summary, CNN
