Description

Silence, Insult, Rejection: How One Woman Turned It All to Yes 5FS-1210 - Tuesday 5-Minute Fresh Start June 29, 2026, 2023,  She had three strikes against her before she said a word. She was a Gentile, a woman, and a mother out of options, watching a demon torment her daughter. So she cried out to Jesus for mercy, and what did she get back? Silence. He answered her "not a word." The disciples wanted her gone. Then Jesus said something that would have crushed most of us: it isn't right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs. Read that again. She had every excuse to storm off offended. Instead, she did something stunning. She worshiped. She said, "Lord, help me," and refused to argue her worth or demand a thing. Her faith wasn't entitled—it was humble. "Yes, Lord," she answered, "yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table." She didn't fight the word; she stood on it. And that humble persistence did what nothing else in the Gospels does so plainly: it moved Jesus from a soft no to a hard yes. "O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire." Her daughter was healed that very hour. She pushed past silence, past insult, past her own feelings, and kept her eyes fixed on the only One who could help. Most people quit one conversation too soon. So sit with this: How many prayers have you abandoned one day before your breakthrough? we thank you for listening today. Unclean, Broke, and Out of Options: She Touched Him Anyway

Unclean, Broke, and Out of Options: She Touched Him Anyway 5FS-1209 - Monday 5-Minute Fresh Start June 28, 2026,  Twelve years. That's how long she bled, how long she suffered, how long the doctors took her money and gave her nothing back but worse pain. The law called her unclean, so the crowd called her untouchable. No hugs. No worship. No place at the table. She had every reason to quit, yet her desperation hardened into determination, and she dragged herself through a packed street toward one Man. She didn't need a sermon or a stage. She needed His garment. Watch the principle at work here: she said, "If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well," and the moment her fingers brushed the fabric, the bleeding stopped. Her faith activated a spiritual law that worked whether she felt confident or terrified—and Scripture says she was trembling. Jesus felt power leave Him and stopped everything. In a sea of bodies pressing against Him, He searched for one overlooked woman. Then He did something her condition never could. He called her "Daughter." Not "patient." Not "problem." Family. He proved He wanted relationship, not just another miracle on the record. Her identity was never her affliction, and yours isn't either. So press in and answer honestly: Have you become more attached to your problem than to God's promise? We thank you for listening today. If you liked what you heard, please be sure to share our video. episode When the King Needed God's Voice, He Called a Woman artwork

When the King Needed God's Voice, He Called a Woman

When the King Needed God's Voice, He Called a Woman 5FS-1208 - Friday 5-Minute Fresh Start June 26, 2026,  A lost book changed everything. When workers found the Book of the Law buried in the Temple, King Josiah tore his clothes in fear and sent his most powerful men to find out what God was saying. Hilkiah the high priest. Shaphan the secretary. The king's own servants. They didn't run to Jeremiah, who was already prophesying. They didn't seek out Zephaniah. They walked straight to a woman named Huldah, living quietly in a corner of Jerusalem. And she didn't soften her words or apologize for them. She opened with "Thus says the Lord" and delivered the full weight of heaven: judgment was coming on a nation that had forsaken God, yet mercy was reserved for a king whose heart stayed tender. Her message lit a fire. Josiah tore down the idols, renewed the covenant, and led a revival that reshaped Judah. Notice what made her dangerous to the enemy and valuable to the King. It wasn't fame, position, or a public stage. She had none of that. She had intimacy with God, and that alone made the most powerful men in the land come knocking. Revival followed revelation, and revelation came through someone the crowds had overlooked. Her life forces an uncomfortable mirror in front of us. So answer honestly: Do people seek your opinion because you're loud—or because you're close to God? We thank you for listening today. If you liked what you heard, please be sure to share our video. The Women Who Defied Pharaoh and Lived to Be Named

The Women Who Defied Pharaoh and Lived to Be Named 5FS-1207 - Thursday 5-Minute Fresh Start June 25, 2026,  Pharaoh held all the power in Egypt, and he used it to issue a monstrous command: every Hebrew baby boy must die at birth. He handed the killing to two midwives, Shiphrah and Puah, expecting obedience. They refused. These women feared God more than they feared the most powerful man alive, and that single decision changed history. They protected life, risked execution, and even stood before Pharaoh and held their ground. Their quiet courage rippled across generations, because Moses, the future deliverer of Israel, survived in a world where women like these dared to say no. Here we see civil disobedience done right: when man's law demands what God forbids, God's law wins. Notice who Scripture remembers. Pharaoh's assistants are forgotten, nameless footnotes, but God wrote Shiphrah and Puah into His Word forever and built households for them. Their faithfulness happened behind closed doors, where no crowd watched and no applause followed, yet God saw every bold act. Their story strips away our excuses. So sit with the question that refuses to let go: What would you refuse to do if everyone around you said, "Just follow orders"? We thank you for listening today. No Title, No Army, No Hesitation: The Jael Story

No Title, No Army, No Hesitation: The Jael Story 5FS-1206 - Wednesday 5-Minute Fresh Start June 24, 2026,  Israel groaned under King Jabin's oppression, and Sisera, the feared enemy commander, ran from a lost battle straight into Jael's tent. She welcomed him in. She covered him with a blanket. She gave him milk when he asked for water and let him believe he was safe. Then, while he slept exhausted, Jael took a tent peg and a hammer and drove it through his temple into the ground. One ordinary woman, no army behind her, ended a war. Her story refuses to let us stay comfortable. God uses unexpected people, not just prophets and soldiers. Faith here looks like courage, not comfort, because Jael risked her own life. Being available mattered more than being famous, and the enemy fell in the very place he thought was secure. Deborah got the spotlight, but Jael finished the mission, proving that God honors decisive obedience while half-hearted faith never changes history. So here's the question that won't leave you alone: Are you praying for God to move while avoiding the uncomfortable thing He's already told you to do? Hashtags We thank you for listening today.
