Wet Bulb Temperature Forecast for Southeast Texas

Wet Bulb Temperature Forecast for Southeast Texas 🌡️ [https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/tca/1/16/1f321.png]🌡️ [https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/tca/1/16/1f321.png] It’s not just the heat you need to watch—it’s the combination of heat and humidity. Wet bulb temperatures are forecast to climb across Southeast Texas over the next several days, making it feel even more uncomfortable outdoors and increasing the risk of heat-related illnesses. When wet bulb temperatures rise, the body has a harder time cooling itself through sweating. If you’re spending time outside, be sure to stay hydrated, take frequent breaks in the shade or air conditioning, and check on vulnerable family members, neighbors, and pets. How are conditions where you are? Are you already feeling the summer humidity? #SoutheastTexas [https://www.facebook.com/watch/hashtag/southeasttexas/?__cft__[0]=AZYHmkh3PfwWfbVG7Tw5pUcn6UZqKoxlz8kMxC-asFuIOmkT6puw0rkMnoMfvfuqfeBfsMyyAXxFmjmJKhBP0cxEWao6Ny119IRrftmryp9V8pA1D2J99-KtzTF2nh_Ut26nOd1JVoJ91C23uK0jRV6O5Hjj4LZVOMnhKi5sXe0SR87qJZCCqHMNijNNrivlia3mzpofVr7ACBObNuhVKQCT&__tn__=*NK-R] #HeatSafety [https://www.facebook.com/watch/hashtag/heatsafety/?__cft__[0]=AZYHmkh3PfwWfbVG7Tw5pUcn6UZqKoxlz8kMxC-asFuIOmkT6puw0rkMnoMfvfuqfeBfsMyyAXxFmjmJKhBP0cxEWao6Ny119IRrftmryp9V8pA1D2J99-KtzTF2nh_Ut26nOd1JVoJ91C23uK0jRV6O5Hjj4LZVOMnhKi5sXe0SR87qJZCCqHMNijNNrivlia3mzpofVr7ACBObNuhVKQCT&__tn__=*NK-R] #WetBulbTemperature [https://www.facebook.com/watch/hashtag/wetbulbtemperature/?__cft__[0]=AZYHmkh3PfwWfbVG7Tw5pUcn6UZqKoxlz8kMxC-asFuIOmkT6puw0rkMnoMfvfuqfeBfsMyyAXxFmjmJKhBP0cxEWao6Ny119IRrftmryp9V8pA1D2J99-KtzTF2nh_Ut26nOd1JVoJ91C23uK0jRV6O5Hjj4LZVOMnhKi5sXe0SR87qJZCCqHMNijNNrivlia3mzpofVr7ACBObNuhVKQCT&__tn__=*NK-R] #TexasWeather [https://www.facebook.com/watch/hashtag/texasweather/?__cft__[0]=AZYHmkh3PfwWfbVG7Tw5pUcn6UZqKoxlz8kMxC-asFuIOmkT6puw0rkMnoMfvfuqfeBfsMyyAXxFmjmJKhBP0cxEWao6Ny119IRrftmryp9V8pA1D2J99-KtzTF2nh_Ut26nOd1JVoJ91C23uK0jRV6O5Hjj4LZVOMnhKi5sXe0SR87qJZCCqHMNijNNrivlia3mzpofVr7ACBObNuhVKQCT&__tn__=*NK-R] #WeatherInsights [https://www.facebook.com/watch/hashtag/weatherinsights/?__cft__[0]=AZYHmkh3PfwWfbVG7Tw5pUcn6UZqKoxlz8kMxC-asFuIOmkT6puw0rkMnoMfvfuqfeBfsMyyAXxFmjmJKhBP0cxEWao6Ny119IRrftmryp9V8pA1D2J99-KtzTF2nh_Ut26nOd1JVoJ91C23uK0jRV6O5Hjj4LZVOMnhKi5sXe0SR87qJZCCqHMNijNNrivlia3mzpofVr7ACBObNuhVKQCT&__tn__=*NK-R] The post  Wet Bulb Temperature Forecast for Southeast Texas  [https://weatherinsightspodcast.com/2026/05/30/wet-bulb-temperature-forecast-for-southeast-texas/] appeared first on Weather Insights [https://weatherinsightspodcast.com].

episode Mother’s Day and Weekly Outlook cover

Mother’s Day and Weekly Outlook

For Mother’s Day, Sunday the next cool front will enter into N TX during the day and thunderstorms are likely to form along this boundary. Could see some sort of line or complex of storms form Sunday afternoon along the front and move into the area Sunday evening into Monday morning. Severe: Overall the severe threat is not overly high through the period, but it is also not zero. “Marginal” or level 1 out of 5 risk is in place for northern and northeast areas today and for much of the region on Saturday. Isolated instances of large hail or damaging winds will be the primary threats. Will need to keep an eye on Sunday evening as the next front approaches as it looks like we will have better instability to work with and severe thunderstorms could move into the area from the northwest. episode Stormy start to the day across Southeast Texas 🌧️ cover

Stormy start to the day across Southeast Texas 🌧️

Heavy rainfall is ongoing this morning, primarily north of US-59, where a Flood Watch remains in effect. Early impacts are already being observed, including areas of street flooding and rising water levels along creeks and bayous—especially across the شمال and northwest portions of the Houston metro. Overnight, thunderstorms produced pockets of large hail from Sugar Land to Pearland. While storm intensity has briefly decreased, the overall pattern remains active, and multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue through the day. The axis of heaviest rainfall is currently aligned from Columbus through Sealy, Cypress, Kingwood, and Liberty. Additional rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are likely, with isolated areas potentially receiving 4 to 5 inches where storms repeatedly move over the same locations. As rainfall continues and soils become increasingly saturated, runoff will intensify, leading to ongoing rises in creeks, bayous, and rivers. Although storm motions are relatively fast, the potential for training storms raises concern for localized flooding, particularly in more vulnerable watersheds. There is also a limited severe weather risk. A few stronger storms today could produce large hail or gusty winds, especially if the coastal boundary shifts farther inland and enhances instability. A strong cold front is expected to move through later today, bringing an end to the rain from north to south by this evening. In its wake, a much cooler and drier air mass will settle into the region, setting up a more pleasant and stable weather pattern for the weekend. episode Weekly Outlook Briefing 4-26-26 cover

Weekly Outlook Briefing 4-26-26

Quiet conditions to start the day across Southeast Texas, but we’re tracking storms moving through North Texas that could try to hold together as they approach our northern counties later this morning. Most guidance suggests they’ll weaken—but we can’t completely rule out a stronger storm slipping through. This afternoon, the setup becomes a bit more favorable for storm development, with enough instability and wind shear in place. While the main severe threat looks to stay north of our area, any storms that do develop could produce large hail. A cap may limit storm coverage, especially farther south, but if it breaks, a few storms could quickly pop up. Looking ahead, a slow-moving front approaches next week and may stall north of Houston, keeping rain chances low early on. By mid to late week, rain chances increase as multiple disturbances move through, followed by a stronger front late week that could bring cooler, breezy conditions. Stay weather-aware this afternoon 👀🌩️ The post Weekly Outlook Briefing 4-26-26 [https://weatherinsightspodcast.com/2026/04/25/weekly-outlook-briefing-4-26-26/] appeared first on Weather Insights [https://weatherinsightspodcast.com].
