He draws our attention to the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the naked, the sick, and the imprisoned—revealing that whatever is done for “the least of these” is done to Him. As we sit with this passage, we gently wrestle with the tension it can bring alongside the truth of salvation by grace through faith. We consider how genuine faith doesn’t remain still, but moves—belief and action woven together in a life that follows Him. We also reflect on who “the least of these” may be pointing to, while holding a posture of love toward all people.
